Obedience

MANNERS: *FULL* Eight week session starts March 23, 2010 ($70), 6:30 - 7:30 PM. 

Basic obedience and good manners.  Call the AnimaLodge at 628-7311 to sign up for June session.

MANNERS 2/CGC:  Eight week session starts February 4, 2010 ($70), 6:30 - 7:30 PM. 

A fun class for all dogs who have completed a basic obedience class.  Manners 2 continues

work on obedience and social skills to prepare the dog and handler for the

Canine Good Citizen Test.  Lots of training games and exposure to novel stimuli.

RALLY OBEDIENCE: *FULL* Six week session starts March 24, 2010 ($65), 
6:30 - 7:25 and 7:30 - 8:30.

Other Classes
NOSEY DOGS- Introduction to Scent Work *FULL*: 5 week session starts February 8, 2010 ($60), 6:30 - 7:30 PM. This fun class will teach you how to develop your dog's natural scenting ability by using his desire to hunt and explore as well as his love of food and toys. Build your dog's confidence and burn a little energy in a low-stress, friendly learning environment! Instructor Crystal Arnold is a dog handler with Absaroka Search Dogs. Space is limted to 8 dogs. PUP-POURRI: Six week session, dates and time TBD ($65). A class for puppies aged 3 months to 1 year, this class will incorporate elements of obedience, scent work, and low-impact agility to build focus, confidence and teamwork.  The AKC S.T.A.R.  Agility (Spring 2010, subject to change)

 

BEGINNING AGILITY:  *FULL* Eight weeks, dates and time TBD, for dogs 1 year of age and older.

Introduction to obstacles, short sequences, handling basics.

Basic obedience is a prerequisite.
All participants must help move equipment.

INTERMEDIATE AGILITY: Six weeks, dates and times TBD. 

An intermediate level class to build proficiency with the obstacles
and improve handling skills. Designed to be repeated as necessary.
All participants must help move equipment.

ADVANCED AGILITY: Six weeks, dates and times TBD, 

for those teams already competing. 

Dogs must be able to weave.

All participants must help move equipment.
